Current vacancies
Financial Controller for a Property Management, Investment and Development Group, operating across a number of companies and also providing Property Management services to 3rd parties. Managing a combined rent roll of circa £10m per annum alongside a pipeline of refurbishment and development opportunities. Nyfield is a long established Property Business that was previously part of the Stepnell Group and has recently become an independent business, www.nyfield.co.uk.
Financial Management and Reporting:
- Production of monthly management accounts across multiple business
- Management of general ledger
- Conduct analysis and insights into the financial and portfolio performance and support better decision making
Budgeting and Forecasting:
- Produce the annual budgets and forecasts to different objectives for parts of the Group
- Engage with the wider team to understand risks and opportunities
- Monitor budgets and expediture
Cashflow and Treasury:
- Manage cashflow planning and ensure availability of funds for operations and expenditure
- Oversee rent collection, reserve accounts, manage inter-company balances and all financial aspects of Lease administration
- Oversee Payroll through management of out-sourced provider
Audit and Compliance: - Co-ordinate with external auditors and tax advisors
Team Leadership:
- Existing Property Accountant to report to the financial controller.
- Manage 3rd party financial support
- Share knowledge and training to support the development of other team members
Systems and Process Improvement:
- Reviewing property management systems and accounting software to streamline operations
- Reports to the Managing Director
- Role is based in newly refurbished offices in Daventry, Northamptonshire.
- Full and Part-time roles will be considered but needs to be office based to ensure that there is good engagement with the wider team
- Professional Accountancy Qualification required
- Salary: £50-65kpa
